Qualifications for apprenticeship

Every apprenticeship program is different, check with your local union.

To apply for the Bricklayers apprenticeship program you must:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be a High School Graduate or have a GED.
  • For Bricklayers, able to lift 50+ lbs
  • For PCC, no fear of heights
  • Willingness and able to attend school two Saturdays per month.

As a Bricklayer/PCC and union member, you receive medical benefits for yourself and dependents, including medical, dental, and vision care, and pension.
