Journeyman

A fully trained and qualified person in a craft or trade such as an electrician, painter, iron worker, plumber, roofer etc.  To reach the level of journeyman you must complete several years of training as an apprentice.  The length of time required varies with each trade but is usually 3-5 years.  Once you become a journeyman you can take your skills anywhere in the world.
