The Roofers and Waterproofers union offers apprenticeship programs for those interested in joining the union. Apprentices learn their craft by training on the job under proper supervision and by studying technical subjects related to the roofing trade.
Program length: 39-42 months
Starting wage: approximately $13.54 to 19.12 per hour (varies by county)
