To enter the building trades, you start as an apprentice.

Apprenticeship programs offer a positive alternative to a four-year college degree.  Instead of paying to attend college, apprentices receive paid job training along with related classroom training and some programs even offer college credit.  Plus apprentices earn great wages, health benefits, a pension and more.

After graduation you can work with the tools or become a project manager, inspector, estimator, safety engineer or many other positions integral to building a large project.  The sky is the limit with construction careers.
